TALO is a Finalist for Five Industry Awards

We are pleased to announce that TALO has been announced as a finalist for five industry awards, which is a tremendous endorsement of our team, our housebuilding solutions and the growth of the business.

Dr Anthony Greer, TALO Founder:

In my view, recognition for HOW we operate matters as much as recognition for WHAT we build – because both are intrinsically linked.

Scaling a business whilst transitioning to UK manufacturing for the TALO offsite housing system, without losing the agility and innovation that got us here, is not a small thing to get right – and it is just brilliant to see that reflected externally. However, none of this changes the underlying task….

There is an urgent need to redefine housebuilding to deliver more ultra-low energy homes at scale, at pace, and without a cost premium, particularly in the social and affordable housing space where the need is greatest.

That is where our ambition to eradicate fuel poverty lies.”

Bengt Magnussen, TALO Founder and Executive Director – Commercial:

“From a commercial standpoint, these nominations are recognition of what our customers experience on site on every project – advanced timber offsite superstructure and foundation solutions, developed and proven in Finland and raising the standard of housebuilding in the UK across every tenure.

Our solutions mean that homes are precision-built and watertight faster and perform in excess of Passivhaus-level standards without a cost premium.

As we continue to scale, that combination – proven housebuilding technology, exceptional and measurable performance, and cost parity – is why our levels of repeat business now exceed 90%.

These award nominations are a credit to the whole team for their outstanding work every day.”
